LA FRIENDLY ISLAND
The island of St. Martin | Sint Maarten is a mid-French mid-Dutch rock located in the Caribbean. It owes its originality to this dual nationality inherited from the distant history, when in 1648 the famous treaty of Concordia confirms the partition of the island between the two nations. A legacy that today offers a multicultural and almost unique melting pot in the world, where freedom of movement and sense of welcome characterize the one naturally nicknamed Friendly Island.

GEOGRAPHY OF ST. MARTIN
North of the Caribbean arc, some 250 kilometers from Guadeloupe, the island of Saint-Martin | St Maarten plants its 86 km2 haughtiness between the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea.
The island is 3h30 from New York, 2h30 from Miami, Florida, 1h30 from Caracas in Venezuela, 45 minutes from the islands of Guadeloupe and Puerto Rico. On the other hand, 7000 kilometers separates it from Europe, which takes about eight hours of flight. Near Saint-Martin | St Maarten, the neighbouring islands are easily accessible: Anguilla, St. Barthelemy, Saba, St. Eustatius, St. Kitts and Nevis.
